Fallen

I’m behind the times, apparently, as I missed watching any episodes of Fallen until last night. I watched pt. 3, so I can’t really say whether I like the series as a whole or not, but I can say I’m intrigued. I’d hoped to buy it on DVD and catch up, but it’s not available yet. Anyone else watch/watching this?

Oh, and we have thunderstorms in my part of SoCal today. I’m loving it.

[x-post] Glad to be here

Hi, all!

I’m very happy to join you at [info]fangs_fur_fey. (thank you to [info]jordansummers1 for suggesting it.)

Some of you know me as  , but I’ve recently sold a new urban fantasy series to Tor-Forge and these books will be written under the pseudonym   since they’re vastly different from my other books. If you’re interested, you can find me at www.SJDay.net and also on MySpace.

I’m very excited about this new series, which will kick off with three consecutive releases. Here’s how the deal posted in PM:

Sylvia Day writing as S.J. Day’s first three books in the MARKED urban fantasy series, about an agnostic woman cursed with the Mark of Cain, which requires her to hunt divine outlaws as penance, a task complicated by contentious Cain and Abel, to Heather Osborn at Tor.

I wrote the proposal for this series a year ago and it’s been sitting (very impatiently) while I cleared my schedule. Sometimes when an idea gestates the thrill wanes, but that hasn’t been the case with this series. I’ve been talking about Evangeline to all my friends for months and months. (poor friends, I do love you for listening.)

I’m a wife and mother of two living in SoCal. I’ve been writing for a few years and I’ve published over a dozen novels with Kensington, HarperCollins, and more, plus several anthologies. But I’ve never tackled anything like this before, so I feel like I’m starting all over again. With the new name, I guess I am.

So that’s me and my books in a nutshell. Again, I’m glad to join you!
